WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) say Pole Road west of Noon Road will be closed beginning Monday, October 30th, due to repairs needed in an area which was the location of a recent culvert replacement that closed the road for a month across August and September.
WSDOT warns motorists that the closure will close the road to all traffic between 8am on Monday, October 30th, through 8am on Friday, November 3rd.
WSDOT says the closure is to enable repairs on a crack found to be forming along the roadway.
The same 19-mile detour route in place during the summer closure will be set up around the work zone via Everson Goshen Road, Nooksack Road (SR9), Badger Road (SR546) and the Guide Meridian (SR539).
