FERNDALE, Wash. — Ferndale Public Works issued an alert today, September 27th, advising drivers to expect traffic impacts around the southbound I-5 on- and off-ramps at Portal Way.
Paving work on the new Thorton Street overpass scheduled between 7am and 7pm tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday is expected to cause delays in the area of the 2nd Avenue and Portal Way roundabout.
Flaggers will be directing traffic while trucks are entering and leaving the work site via the roundabout. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
