NWS issues wind advisory through midnight Saturday

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The National Weather Service in Seattle today, Friday, October 24, 2025, at 4pm, issued a wind advisory due to gusts expected to reach 35 to 40mph.

• WHAT…Southeast to southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 to 40 mph expected at times.
• WHERE…Portions of northwest and west central Washington.
• WHEN…From 9 AM Saturday to midnight PDT Saturday Night.
• IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Instructions
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicles. Secure outdoor objects.
