New wind advisory issued for western Whatcom County (Mon.)

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Forecasters in the Seattle office of the National Weather Service have issued a wind advisory that will be effective from 6pm on Monday, March 11th, through 2am on Tuesday.

The advisory warns of sustained southeast winds of 20 to 35mph with gusts up to 50mph.

The advisory area includes western Whatcom County, San Juan County, western Skagit County and the Admiralty Inlet area.
