Neighbor input requested to guide Cedar Creek Park upgrades

City of Ferndale Parks, Recreation and Trails Advisory Board (PRTAB) says upgrades to Cedar Creek Park are possible and are asking for neighbors’ input “on what would be best.”

A “listening session” is scheduled at Cedar Creek Park, by the entrance at 6179 Apollo Drive, on June 7th at 5:30pm. City staff say attendees can expect lemonade and conversation about what features are most needed at Cedar Creek.

Cedar Creek is a 5.3-acre park. According to City reports, it features “a basketball half-court, children’s play equipment that is at or near the end of its useful life, open grassy areas, picnic tables, mature trees, creek and bridge, and is considered fully developed.”
