WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Current weather forecasts are warning to expect high temperatures to reach into parts of Whatcom County midweek. Areas furthest from the water are expected to get the warmest temperatures.

National Weather Service forecasters in the Seattle office say to expect high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s today, Sunday, July 13, 2025, with some cooling tomorrow.

A strong high-pressure system is expected to bring much warmer high temperatures beginning Tuesday and lasting through Thursday. A shift in the weather system is expected to bring lower temperatures to coastal areas on Friday but the same cooling may come a day later to inland areas.

No precipitation is expected during this time. Winds are expected to remain breezy, coming from the north on Tuesday and shifting to westerly on Wednesday and Thursday. The combination of dry, hot and breezy conditions creates elevated fire concerns.

Below are the currently forecast high temperatures for Whatcom County locations next week.
