Monday morning power outages leave over 3,000 without power across Whatcom County

EVERSON, Wash. — Power outages, large and small, have been reported across Whatcom County according to Puget Sound Energy (PSE). These followed high winds overnight and into the morning.

As of 8am, Monday, December 15, 2025, 3,674 PSE customer addresses were reported to have been impacted.

An outage stretching across Lummi Peninsula and Lummi Island accounted for 2,569 of those impacted.

Gusts over 45mph were reported in some locations. “Trees/vegetation” were cited as the causes for many of the outages.
