BLAINE, Wash. — Blaine Police reported about 3pm on Saturday, December 2nd, that a train stopped on the tracks due to mechanical problem was blocking 2 roads.
There is a mechanical problem with a train along Peace Portal Drive. Bell Road and Hughes Avenue are blocked. We will let you know when they are open again. Please use alternate routes. Blaine Police Department (December 2, 2023)
As of 3:30pm, a traffic backup extended about 1 mile to the south from Bell Road and Peace Portal Drive to Drayton Road.
