According to the BPD’s incident log, John was arrested for violation of a no contact order the evening of December 4th in the 1300 block of Lakeway Drive.

On December 4, a tip came in alerting officers to a repeat domestic violence court order violator at the very residence where he was not supposed to be. From previous law enforcement contacts, the man established a reputation as someone who flees when contacted. He also disregards the well-being of those around him when he flees from law enforcement. Though officers were told the suspect was not at the residence, they patiently waited and saw him slip out the back door. He came face to face with one of the officers, tried to flee, and was tackled to the ground and taken into custody without incident.

The way the law goes he will make a deal and ninety percent of his charges will be dropped and he will get a slap on the back of the hand and in a couple weeks he will be back out to continue his mayhem

So Snohomish County denied the arrest warrant by whatcom county and set him free upon society to cause more harm. Good work BPD and Whatcom Sheriff Dept for your continued vigilance in getting the guy back where he belongs. Now it’s up to the courts and prosecutors to keep him there. I hope they don’t fail us once again.
