Main Street to be reduced to one lane today for bridge inspection

City of Ferndale staff say motorists should expect to encounter single lane, flagged traffic on Main Street at the Pioneer Bridge over the Nooksack River during a required biennial bridge inspection today, Monday, April 24th.

The Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) inspection is scheduled to occur between 11am and 2pm and it is during this time traffic impacts are expected.

Delays are likely and alternate routes recommended.
