Lummi Island power outage impacts 790

Equipment failure is being blamed for an early morning power outage across much of Lummi Island this morning.

According to Puget Sound Energy officials, 791 of their customers on Lummi Island lost power about 12:45am.

As of 6:15am, crews were reported to be on-scene making repairs and the estimate for restoring power was 10:30am.
