This Sunday night’s episode of America’s Funniest Home Videos (AFV) will include a video submitted by Ferndale Girl Scout Troop #44379.
According to Troop Leader Elizabeth Blakley, they learned AFV’s “Assignment America” was to submit videos of people crashing through things in slow motion. So the troop decided they would make a video of the troop crashing through a wall of Girl Scout cookie cases to celebrate a great cookie season.
Blakley originally submitted the video back in March. It was not until August before she heard back and learned the video was being considered for airing on the show. This week she got word from AFV staff the video would be on Sunday’s episode.
Currently in it’s 27th season, America’s Funniest Home Videos is the longest-running primetime entertainment show in ABC history.
The episode featuring the Ferndale Girl Scout Troop’s video will air Sunday, October 22nd, at 8pm on ABC.
