Forecasters in the Seattle office of the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a High Wind Watch today, January 8th, that will be in effect from Thursday evening, January 9th, through Friday afternoon. Forecasters warn to expect sustained southerly winds from 30 to 40mph with gusts to 60mph.
