The warning is scheduled to be in effect between 8pm tonight and 9am tomorrow (Friday) morning. Sustained winds of up to 35mph and gusts of up to 50mph are being forecast.

Highest gusts are expected to occur from late this evening through the overnight hours.

NWS points out,

This will be the first wind event of this magnitude this season. Impacts such as tree damage are typically greater for an event of this magnitude when it is the first event of the season. Prepare for tree damage and scattered power outages. Many of the wind-related deaths in western Washington occur when trees topples onto people in cars.
