According to a Bellingham Herald article, the bankruptcy court approved a recent request to sell the “core” or profitable regional stores in the Haggen chain. This includes the Ferndale Haggen location.
Permission had already been granted and auctions held for the other stores in the chain. It is expected that the auction for the core locations will occur February 5th February 11th February 22nd March 11th.
