Discover Ferndale has been working to keep you up-to-date on roadwork planned as crews try to do what they can before the weather turns chronically bad (normal for November). As reported, they had planned to work today, October 27th, through the remainder of the week. But, in light of the rainy weather forecast between now and Monday, the city announced today they have opted to cancel the roadwork planned for the rest of the week.
And, in case you missed it, the Slater Road roadway and bridge projects are all but finally completed meaning that will take a sizable amount of the traffic that had been contributing to the heavy traffic load on Main Street through the summer.
