A milk drive to benefit the Ferndale Food Bank starts this Friday, March 18th and continues through Saturday, March 26th.
The drive will hold its kick off event on Friday, March 18th at 11am at Ferndale Grocery Outlet. Washington Dairy Ambassadors will be on hand with information and giveaways.
During the milk drive, shoppers at Ferndale Grocery Outlet will be able to buy a gallon of milk for a needy family. Look for the information board with coupons at the store.
The drive is done in partnership with the Ferndale Grocery Outlet, Dairy Farmers of Washington and the Ferndale Food Bank.
The Ferndale Food Bank is hoping to collect at least 1000 gallons of milk. Milk is one of the top nutritious item requested by food bank clients.
