It is March so a forecast of several days with highs in the 60s is newsworthy for Ferndale.
While it was only last July we endured several days in the 80s, this is only March. According to weather.com, the historical average high temperature for the month of March is 52°. So seeing a forecast of highs in the mid-60s with clear skies and zero chance of rain could make one downright giddy. It could only be improved if it happened over a weekend.
Employers may need to prepare for an epidemic of widespread and varied illnesses among employees as a result.
