Expect to see flags at half-staff today for the 16th annual observance of Patriot Day.
Patriot Day commemorates the terrorist attacks on several US locations including the Pentagon in Washington DC and the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001.
Patriot Day is not a federal holiday.
