Fire responds to report of a barn fire on Ferndale Road

11:05am: Reports of smoke from the roof of a barn in the 4400 block of Ferndale Road (south of Slater Road) have fire units responding.

11:15am: Responding units are not finding any fire in the area. One radioed communication suggested it may be steam rising from the roof.

11:19am: All responding units were given a “Code Green” (no emergency, disregard) and units on the scene have cleared.
