Whatcom County Fire District 7 (WCFD7) aid and fire crews responded to a total of 416 calls during the month of October according to Fire Chief Larry Hoffman. Calls included
* 3 building fires
* 341 medical emergencies including 14 vehicle crashes with injuries
* 4 hazardous condition calls
* 36 calls canceled en route
* 15 false alarms
WCFD7 averaged 13.4 calls per day during October.
