The Ferndale Police Department issued a statement today regarding an investigation of rape and the subsequent charges against a Ferndale chiropractor.
According to the statement, Terry R. Rouse, age 55, turned himself in at the Whatcom County Jail this morning and was taken into custody on the charge of rape in the 2nd degree, a Class A felony.
Rouse’s chiropractic practice, Rouse Chiropractic Office, is located in the 2000 block of Vista Drive. According to the FPD statement, Rouse is accused of improperly touching two female patients during treatment sessions at his business location within the last year and a half.
According to County Jail records, Rouse was still in custody as of 4pm today.

Rouse was released from custody after posting a $10,000 bond.
