First responders were dispatched to a crash west of Ferndale Road on Slater Road shortly after 7:30pm tonight, February 11th.
According to unconfirmed radio transmissions from the scene, 2 vehicles were involved and the occupants suffered minor injuries.
Traffic was detoured via Ferndale Road and Imhof Road.
A nearby resident said dust kicked up in nearby fields by today’s strong winds had made visibility difficult in area earlier.
Whatcom County Fire District 7 Division Chief Ben Boyko said they treated 2 patients at the scene and 1 was transported to PeaceHealth St Joseph’s Medical Center under basic life support protocol with non-life-threatening injuries.
