FERNDALE, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Vista Drive and Brown Road today, August 7th, about 11am due to a report of an injury crash.
It appeared a Toyota Prius and a Ford F-150 pickup had collided in the middle of the 4-way stop intersection. The Toyota ended up in the south leg of the intersection and the Ford ended up in the ditch alongside Vista Drive about 50 feet east of the intersection.
Whatcom County Fire District 7 Division Chief Ben Boyko told Whatcom News the driver of the Toyota was transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and passenger from the pickup were treated and released at the scene.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office were investigating the cause of the crash.
