WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Forecasters with the Seattle office of the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a coastal flood advisory for Sunday, December 7, 2025, for the hours between 5am and 11am.
- WHAT…Minor coastal flooding expected. Inundation of around 2 feet above ground level is possible along shorelines and low-lying coastal areas.
- WHERE…San Juan County, Lowlands of Western Whatcom County and Lowlands of Western Skagit and Northwestern Snohomish Counties zones.
- WHEN…From 5AM to 11 AM PST Sunday.
- IMPACTS…Minor coastal flooding due to tidal overflow is expected around high tide. This may lead to flooding of parking lots, parks, and roads, with only isolated road closures expected.
- ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Coastal flooding will occur in the hours around high tide, at around 900 AM Sunday.
