This stretch of the highway has been closed and reopened multiple times since a lightning-caused wildfire was detected on July 17th.
As of 8:10am, the semi was moved off to the side of the road.
At least 1 patient was transported from the crash scene by a medic unit.
Precipitation on roads that have sat dry for an extended period creates the potential for a significant driving hazard.
Power lines were reported down across the road and detour signs being put in place.
Motorists can expect flaggers and to be escorted through the fire area by pilot cars.
Work is expected to be completed early 2025.
The closure was scheduled to last a until 5am tomorrow, Friday, July 26th.
