WSDA will be attempting to trap a live Asian giant hornet in the area, tag it and track it back to its nest.
Dates are set for reopening the northbound I-5 mainline lanes as well as nearby Zell Road which also received a new culvert.
For 24-hours-a-day drivers will encounter a lane closure and be directed onto a bypass lane.
The lane reduction is expected to continue until June 23rd.
A live streamed talk about the Asian giant hornet is scheduled for 7pm this evening.
State and federal labs confirmed the specimen was an Asian giant hornet.
