FERNDALE, Wash. — Whatcom County Fire District 7 personnel were dispatched to a Mountain View Road address near Barr Road about 11:30am today, September 14th due to a report of a car versus building crash.
According to WCFD7 Fire Chief Larry Hoffman, the driver of the small SUV was transported to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center under advance life support protocol (ALS) but not due to any trauma from the crash. No one in the house was injured.
The SUV had moderate front end damage and the corner of the residence was pushed in a few inches.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the crash.
