A water pipe that delivers water to a number of businesses on the northwest corner of 3rd Avenue and Main Street broke overnight. As a result, at least one business is mopping up and others are unable to open without water.
A water pipe located in the wall just outside the front of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit restaurant began leaking overnight. When workers arrived this morning, November 16th, they found muddy water streaming out the back doors. According to their Facebook page, they will be closed for the day.
Other businesses potentially impacted include Subway (sign on the door says they’re temporarily closed), AllisonAmy Jewelry, Child Evangelism Fellowship and Luxe Thai. Several other impacted business which are not typically open on Mondays include Hot Dogz & Kool Catz, The Checkered Apron and Seema Threading & Hair Salon.
