Blinking electronics this morning? A power outage is to blame

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reported a power outage in the north Ferndale area early this morning that impacted a relatively large area (see graphic).

No cause was given for the outage that began around 3am. PSE reported power was restored around 4:30am.

At the time, wind speeds in the area were below 30mph as reported by area weather monitoring stations.
