Bellingham woman suspected of attempted murder

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 4:40pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, to an address on Lisa Lane in Bellingham due to report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

According to unconfirmed emergency services radio transmissions from the scene at the time, a victim and the suspected assailant were transported to PeaceHealth St Joseph Hospital by ambulance.

According to Whatcom County Jail records, a 43-year-old Bellingham woman was booked into the jail about 11:45pm and charged with suspicion of 1st-degree attempted murder.
