Bellingham power outage leaves nearly 2,000 without power Monday

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy (PSE) reports a power outage in Bellingham has left 1,951 of its customers’ addresses without power.

According to PSE, the outage was first reported at 12:18pm on Monday, January 26, 2026.

As of 12:35pm, the standard 2-hour estimate for restoring power was being applied.

As of 3:10pm, the cause was cited as “Equipment failure.” The estimate for restoring power is 3:30pm.
