WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Officials with the National Weather Service Seattle office have issued a wind advisory followed by a high wind watch for today, Sunday, April 3rd, and tomorrow.
The wind advisory will be in effect from 11am until 8pm today and expects southerly sustained winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts up to 50mph
The high wind watch will be in effect from 8pm today until 8pm tomorrow while southerly sustained winds of 30 to 40mph with gusts up to 55mph are expected.
The advisory and watch areas are western Whatcom County, San Juan County, western Skagit County and the Admiralty Inlet area.
