The US National Weather Service published the above composite of satellite photos taken October 15th that shows a swath of atmospheric moisture from coastal China to western British Columbia.
Recent weather forecasts predict this atmospheric ‘river’ will likely be pushed to the south over western Washington by shifts in the jet stream resulting in several days of heavy rain in the area.
