Advisory warns of wind gusts up to 50mph across Whatcom County

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Today, November 3rd, the National Weather Service Seattle office issued a wind advisory for Saturday, November 4th.

According to the advisory statement, southeast sustained winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts of 40 to 50mph are expected between 5am and 3pm on Saturday.

The advisory area includes western Whatcom and Skagit Counties along with the Admiralty Inlet area.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. National Weather Service Seattle office (November 3, 2023)
