50+ wake to a power outage in north Ferndale

52 Puget Sound Energy (PSE) customers lost power about 3am this morning according to PSE officials.

The outage impacts residents and businesses in an area around Portal Way and Brown Road.

As of 5:45am, the cause had yet to be cited and the estimate for restoring power was 8am.

Suspect would be moderate northerly wind gusts that have been blowing through the area since after midnight.
