Officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced today, Tuesday, November 8th, The North Cascade Highway (SR20) is closed for the season as of today. The closure points will be at the Ross Dam trailhead (milepost 134) on the west side and Early Winters gate (milepost 178) on the east side.
Depending on conditions, WSDOT said they may be able to reopen to Silver Star sno park on the east side prior to the holidays.
In addition, Cayuse (SR123) and Chinook Passes (SR410) were already closed for the season.
All will remain closed until they can be safely reopened in the spring.
