National Weather Service forecasters have issued a Winter Weather Advisory that is in effect through 4am tomorrow, Wednesday.
The advisory has been issued for the lowlands of western Whatcom County, including the Ferndale area.
According to the advisory, additional snow accumulations of up to 2 inches are expected. Drivers should be alert and plan for slippery Road conditions as a result.
