Wind advisory issued for northeasterly winds Thursday and Friday

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The National Weather Service Seattle office has issued a wind advisory for western Whatcom County from 10pm on Thursday, November 21st, to 10am on Friday.

The advisory statement warns of sustained northeast winds of 20 to 30mph with gusts to 45mph.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicles. Secure outdoor objects.
