UPDATED 3pm to reflect revised wind speeds and timing.
Clear and dry weather conditions over the past few days will begin to change starting tonight.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Seattle, initial changes will result in gusty north and northeast winds out of the Fraser Valley (aka the Fraser Valley outflow) tonight and into Friday. As a result, a Wind Advisory has been issued for 2am 10pm tonight to noon Friday.
Sustained winds 20 to 35mph with gusts to 50mph 45mph can be expected late tonight or early Friday morning according to the advisory statement. Winds are expected to peak late morning Friday.

Come Saturday, there is a threat of light snow showers increasing some Saturday night. However, as winds become southerly, a transition from snow to rain is expected Saturday night. Snowfall amounts are anticipated to be around a half an inch or less.
A mild, wet pattern is expected to develop over the Pacific Northwest region starting Sunday. Temperatures will be below normal on Sunday but change to above normal during the following days.
Hopefully, the warmer temperatures should melt any remaining frozen precipitation on the ground.
