WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — Officials with Whatcom County Public Works have announced the following road closures due to flooding of the Nooksack River and adjacent streams and creeks as of 3pm on Sunday, January 28th.
- Hannegan Road is closed from Polinder Road to the Lynden city limits.
- Slater Road will be closed between La Bounty and Ferndale Roads effective 3:30pm
Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) reported at 5:30pm, “Marine Drive and Slater are closed and detouring through Ferndale via Douglas/Imhoff Rds.”
