WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — While over 10,000 Puget Sound Energy (PSE) residential and business addresses in Whatcom County were without power late Wednesday, March 11, 2026, that number was down to about 1,900 by Thursday morning.
As of 8am, PSE reported over 30,000 addresses remained without power across the northern Puget Sound region.

Peak gust speeds were reported across Whatcom between 40mph and 50mph before midnight.
