Ellensburg City Council candidate takes job in Ferndale

Barbara Robles, a candidate for Ellensburg City Council, has taken a position with the Ferndale School District in Ferndale (a city about 10 miles north of Bellingham) but has not withdrawn from the race for council.
According to a post on the Ferndale School District website on August 31st, Dr. Bárbara del Mar Robles was recently hired as the Director of Equity and Inclusion. Her previous job is listed as Director of Teacher Academies at Central Washington University which is mirrored by her LinkedIn.com profile.
