As of 12:25pm, PSE cited a bird or animal as the cause of the outage. PSE Spokesperson Andrew Padula told Whatcom News in an email, “Our service crews responded and discovered a squirrel had gotten into our electrical equipment causing the power outage. Once our crews were able to close the breaker – we were able to get all customers back on by 12:25 p.m.”
