Drivers should also expect delays due to road repair work scheduled on W Smith Road between Saratoga Place and Byers Road on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 7am to 5pm. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane through the work area with flaggers alternating the direction of traffic.

WSDOT warns that on Monday, April 21, 2025, between 8am and 3pm, maintenance crews will close the right lane of southbound I-5 between the Slater Road interchange and the W Bakerview Road interchange for “shoulder pulling work.”

WSDOT also warns of traffic impacts in the Acme area Mondays through Fridays between Monday, April 21, 2025, and Friday, May 9, 2025, from 7am to 3pm. Puget Sound Energy crews are scheduled to be doing roadwork that will require closing a lane on Valley Highway (SR9) between Wickersham Road and Turkington Road. Flaggers will be alternating the direction of traffic through the closure area.
