The announcement marks a return to backyard campfires while continuing to restrict burning of yard debris and other outside fires.
It was July 13th when a similar burn ban was enacted last year.
The Fire Marshal's Office advises to continue to use extreme caution with outdoor fires since vegetation is still recovering from the long stretch of dry weather and is susceptible to fire spread.
Unincorporated areas of Whatcom County and Lummi Island continue to be under Stage 2 burn bans.
Firefighters arrived to find a mobile home, shed, covered deck, travel trailer and a fence fully involved plus a side of a wood frame house.
