T-bone crash at Barrett and W Smith Roads

Failure to yield the right of way was the cause of a crash shortly after 9am this morning at the intersection of Barrett Road and W Smith Road.

According to Ferndale Police at the scene, a vehicle heading north on Barrett Road failed to yield to a westbound vehicle on W Smith Road resulting in the T-bone crash which sent the westbound vehicle head on into a guard rail.

No one involved required medical attention. Both vehicles required being towed from the scene.

The road was partially blocked while law enforcement and emergency aid crews responded.
