Before the wet weather leaves and a bitter cold front moves in, the collision of the two is expected to drop anywhere between 1 to 3 inches of snow in the Ferndale area this evening and through the night.
The eastern Whatcom County foothills area has already seen a dusting. Ferndale can expect to see snow begin after 5pm. The east county who will see it first and are expecting 2 to 4 inches. Bellingham will get snow about the same time or shortly after Ferndale does.
