The driver of a white Ford Focus was taken by ambulance from the scene of a 1-vehicle rollover crash this morning.
According to officials at the scene, the Ford was westbound in the 3700 block of Grandview Road when it crossed the center line and left the roadway on the south side about 6:45am. The vehicle rolled, ending up on its top. The driver had climbed out of the vehicle by the time Whatcom County Fire District 7 (WCFD7) aid crews arrived.
Washington State Patrol troopers were at the scene investigating the cause. This story will be updated with the results of their investigation when available.
The driver, the only occupant in the Ford, was transported by WCFD7 to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries according to WCFD7 Division Chief Ben Boyko.
