West Smith Road was closed between LaBounty Drive and Barrett Road this morning after a 2-car crash.
Around 7:30am this morning, Ferndale Police responded to a report of a crash at Barrett Road and W Smith Road. According to Ferndale Police Lieutenant Bill Hatchett, there were no injuries in the two-car collision.
Hatchett said the cars collided in the intersection when the car entering on Barrett Road failed to yield to the car entering on W Smith Road. Both cars sustained significant front end damage.
Whatcom County District 7 responded to address the large amount of fluids on the road as a result of the crash.
The road remained closed as of 8:45am.
